Hello again! My last post was about two months ago. Where does the time go? It evaporates!
The first month of 2008 is ready to close. I had a friend years ago who liked to say "Tomorrow is the fourth of July and the next day is Christmas!" Kind of sums it all up, doesn't it.
I guess the point is: prioritize! If I don't give priority to the things that are important, then my time will be consumed by that which isn't. And guess which things scream the loudest: it's the little things, the trivial pursuits, the a-musing. Things of real import are more silently patient. Waiting to be sought out, not crying to be heard. It's as if they know that they are treasures and will not give themselves to just anyone, only to those who truly seek after them diligently.
Make the most of every day....this life is no dress rehearsal...it's the real deal!
Later..........

Time is something that we cannot recapture--we can only make the best of what we are given here. As it is with our finances, we must be tithing our time to the Lord. I know that in the business of life that I dont always give Him the time that I should. It seem to be more of a matter of convienence when I do spend time with Him. I know that this breaks His heart as He wants to spend as much time with me as He can.
Time to slow down, priortize and get back to the heart of the matter.
Why am I here anyway--I know and He knows, so why arent I doing it?
